You don’t have to be Rafael Nadal or Sam Stosur to enjoy the energising workout that is Tenni-cise! Constant movement is the focus as a coach guides you through a series of fun and heart-pumping drills that cater for all abilities and fitness levels.
What is Tenni-cise?
An Average Tenni-cise Workout Runs For 45 to 60 Minutes and is Comprised of:
- 5-10 minute warm-up
- 30-50 minute cardio tennis segment with drill-based and play-based activities
- 5-10 minute cool down
A true Tenni-cise session comprises six key components:
Warm-up, cardio segment (drill-based and play-based activities) and cool down
Music – 120 to 150 beats per minute
Heart rate monitors and regular heart rate checks
Low-compression balls
Cardio Burst activities (15-20 second aerobic activities such as agility ladders, footwork activities etc.)
The coach (energetic, enthusiastic and engaging).
